Valuable Voki
A Voki is a speaking avatar. They can provide a more personalised element to the online classroom. I have found that they can be very useful to those who are not confident in working video or vodcasts. Vokis can be used as an engaging tool, particularly in the online classroom. They would be of value to audio/visual learners.

I am very excited to try this new tool as this is only the second time I have seen it being used before. I am interested to find out the ways that this tool can and has been used in the classroom as a means of learning. Can't wait to have a go myself!!

ReplyDeleteYes, they are a fantastic tool. The website allows the creator to personalise the Voki. There are even voice and accent options.
ReplyDeleteI love using Voki. It allows you to create a persona that can be similar to how you look (like yourself), or one that is far removed from reality. I also do think that using Voki within the schooling system, would be a very engaging learning tool (hook) for a lesson.
