An online program has been made available recently that is free to all users. U2B Idol is a music video creation tool that will add music to match videos, automatically! Just sing, talk, or do whatever it is you do, into a webcam, and the site will create music to match. You can also upload the video directly to YouTube. I have viewed this tool for myself and have found it lots of fun and very simple to use. In the classroom this would be an effective learning tool for students to create their own songs, writing as a group while working on their literacy skills.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter tried it (yr 2) and thought that it was really sooo good. She then went to her room and began trying to write her own song lyrics.
